Connecticut State Police said a search of a home in Avon, in Hartford County, conducted on Thursday, June 11, by detectives as a result of a media-generated theory in the disappearance of the New Canaan mother.
The search included an inspection of the septic system, the state police said.
"No new evidence or clues were discovered as a result of this search," state police said. "The Connecticut State Police continues to search for Jennifer Farber-Dulos."
The mother of five, who was last seen on Friday, May 24, and her late husband Fotis Dulos, rented the home with their children until it was sold in 2010.
The search, the second of the home, was conducted with the consent of the owner, the state police said.
Fotis Dulos was facing murder charges in his estranged wife's disappearance when he died Thursday, Jan. 30 from an apparent suicide.
Farber Dulos was last seen dropping off her children at school in New Canaan on the day she disappeared.
